Uptown Dallas is the epicenter of condo living in Dallas. Uptown has more condo units than any other neighborhood and a huge variety of building styles, from lofts like West Village and 1999 McKinney to some of Dallas's most luxurious high-rises like the Ritz-Carlton Residences and the Azure Condos. When it comes to downtown, it wasn't long ago that downtown Dallas was a ghost town at night and on the weekends. It was mainly a place to work, but its status as a residential neighborhood began to change when office towers like 1505 Elm and The Metropolitan began converting to residential. Downtown Dallas really came into its own as a residential neighborhood with the redevelopment of the arts district and the introduction of luxury buildings like One Arts Plaza and Museum Tower.
The stately buildings of Turtle Creek are where Dallas' high-rise condominium market started. Some of the buildings here date back to the 1950's and ‘60s, like 3525 — the city’s iconic mid-century modern tower. Every 20 years or so, another wave of condo buildings appear along Turtle Creek. The 1980's brought us The Warrington and The Claridge. In the 2000's came The Mayfair and Vendome Condos. Recently there have been cranes above Turtle Creek yet again as we welcome newcomers like LTD Edition 2505.
Victory Park is home to some of the most modern high-rise towers in Dallas like The House and the W Residences Dallas. Although it had a rough start, some changes in the zoning and traffic laws have helped it grow in popularity. There are several newer lease towers going in this area, too.
