The Ponce is Atlanta's original luxury high-rise. Originally known as the Ponce de Leon Apartments, The Ponce opened in 1913 and was designed by architect William Stoddart. Stoddart also designed the neighboring Georgian Terrace hotel. This Midtown building was converted to a condominium in 1982, when its Beaux Arts & Italianate finishes were thoroughly restored. It currently includes nearly 70 residences. Some of the residences at The Ponce have balconies, but all residents will enjoy sweeping skyline views from the rooftop terrace. Shops can be found at both the ground and basement levels.
