The Maxfield building was LA’s first building downtown made entirely of reinforced concrete. The vision of architect John Montgomery Cooper, its minimalist design was revolutionary when it was built in 1925.
Now known as The Max Lofts, the building’s 96 residences feature luxury appliances, vaulted ceilings high-speed internet availability, in-unit washers and dryers, air conditioning, a dishwasher, loft-style layouts, storage units, and ADA accessible rooms. The kitchens feature stainless steel appliances, a pantry, and a dishwasher.
Outside of the residences themselves, those who call The Max Lofts home enjoy access to a pool, clubhouse, dry cleaning services, key fob entry, fitness center, bike storage, a game room, and even a renters insurance program. Available services include controlled access, video patrol, on-site property management and maintenance, and concierge services. Pets are allowed with a $250 pet deposit and $25 monthly pet rent.
