Yale Steam Laundry

Back in 1902, everyone had their laundry done at this 12-story condo building. Of course, it wasn’t a condo building then. Rather, it was one of the main laundry facilities for hotels and government buildings. Oh, and the White House, too. Completely renovated and added on to in 2008 (with historical preservation always in mind) the Yale Steam Laundry includes 270 condo and loft-style homes with the industrial signature of exposed brick and beams, hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and other features that make you feel like you’re living in the industrial past – with, of course, all the modern, 21st-century amenities, including pool tables, a rooftop pool, designer kitchens, and more.
