Naples is a popular, sophisticated and charming beach destination on the Gulf of Mexico at the Southwestern tip of Florida. The condominiums available in Naples rival those in much larger cities for luxury and amenities.  Many of the condo buildings are close to neighborhood restaurants and shops, and within walking distance of the beautiful Naples beaches. Even though it is a large city, Naples offers plenty of ways to avoid the crowds by visiting secluded islands and enjoying the desolate wilderness of the nearby Everglades. Some Naples condo communities and buildings even come with beach club memberships or marinas.
Naples, FL, is a bayside community along southwestern Florida's coast. The Gulf of Mexico, with its legendary white-sand beaches and serene views, stretches out to the west of the city. There are various wildlife preserves and natural areas to the east, among the largest of which are the Marco Island, the largest island and only developed region of the Ten Thousand Islands Aquatic Preserve, is also relatively nearby to the south.
All this may make it sound like there's a lot around Naples. It's true that it's easy to access many natural parks and even urban centers, but one of the best reasons to live here is the feeling that the city is somehow removed from the hurry and worry of everyday life. Residents do not have to live in one of the opulent estates to capture this feeling — it suffuses nearly every aspect of life in the town including all the high-rise condos. Even though they're right on Highway 41, one of Florida's most important throughways, there is a feeling of exclusivity and luxury to Naples and many of its neighbors that's difficult to describe until it's observed directly. The condo buildings in Naples are mostly set back from the roads and many are gated, so even though you're close to the city you feel miles away. The condominium homes in Naples tend to follow this upscale, refined spirit with fine appointments, attention to detail and spacious floor plans. Many people spend the winters in Naples, so there is nearly always a good selection of units with resort-style amenities, both shared and private. Getting to and from the city is relatively simple via the highway. It is also possible to sail into town, or else to take a private flight into the local airport, located just a few minutes' drive from the gulf.
